Bungie and Activision Announce partnership.

Honestly, this is not a terrible thing. Bungie is retaining property of ALL it's thought's, Idea's and past/present/future creations they are simply using Activision to market the finished product to multiple platforms and larger global reach. From what I can tell from what I read Activision will have no creative control over Bungie products and pretty much no say on any present or future development.....In a nut shell get ready to see Halo releases on the PS3, Wii, DS ect.

"Under the terms of the agreement, Activision will have exclusive, worldwide rights to publish and distribute all future Bungie games based on the new intellectual property on multiple platforms and devices." Taken from activisions website.

It wont be on halo games anyway, bungie are done with it for now and are taking their studio to a completely new game universe.
