~$1000 to Spend on a New Laptop
Right now, I'm pretty intent on getting this Samsung.
I'm not going to use it in school. It's just for internet browsing, Microsoft Office, and light gaming.
This is probably going to be my computer throughout undergrad.
What do you guys think? Should I get something different?

Buy that bitch. Or if you want I'll sell you the one I'm using for $1000? I'd say its totally worth it.

Nice man!! I say get it
Here's the laptop I'm planning on getting with my first paycheck
HP Envy 17
I'm going to customize it to have:
Intel i7 (Ivy Bridge)
8 GB of RAM
Radeon HD 7850M
Full 1080p screen
BluRay Player
Beats Audio
750 GB 7200 rpm Hybrid drive
All for less than $1150 thanks to a deal they have going on right now!

But look at the price tag on that baby! I'd have to get it without the hard drive and the built-in trackball.

That sounds awesome! I just put my order in, and I'm getting it Thursday . I'm starting to think that the 3-Gen i7 is a bit overkill, but hey. Why the fuck not?
