I can't wait to start drawing on it! Though it may take awhile before I get used to it...

A simple practice sketch for coloring and shadowing. Feedback would be extremely awesome since I'm still not 100% used to drawing on a tablet, but once I've "mastered" it decently I'll move on to bigger projects for the winbutton. Smile

You're on the right track. It takes a while to get used to it.
Plus figuring out what brushes to use and so on. It feel like you're learning how to draw all over again and the main goal is to make it feel natural to use and best way to do that is have a set of brushes and colours you're familiar with. Generally I sketch with the default brush with flow turned down a bit. And with colour at a light red or blue. You can find loads of brushes on Deviantart to try out too so mess around with those till you figure out what you like and don't like.
Once I'm happy I'll go and ink it on a new layer. Usually simple sketches can be the most fun.

It takes a while but it does get easier.

Yea, it's slowly getting easier sketching wise, but I definitely need more work in inking and painting department (I haven't colored a picture in years). Also, great job on the Ezio pic!

One of my things I love to do is to sketch and I've been trying to get into the same groove/feeling of whenever I sketch on my sketchbook or some scratch piece of paper. Here's my attempt to get into that same feeling with only one layer, one brush, and one color. xD

Yeah sketching helps you get a feel for it. Even if you get new brushes, it's the best way to try em out. Though, never draw on the background page. Always make a new layer and use that instead.
It'll never feel 100% like drawing on paper, which usually feels more acurate as you can feel each line go down, but you get the hang of it over time.
