So I basically missed a whole year worth of game releases thanks to University, is there a few really great games you guys can recommend?

Also, I'm currently catching up on a few games like Gears 2, Dragon age and Assassins 2 and I know I'll be getting Portal 2 (dunno which verision yet though) and the Arrival DLC for Mass Effect once I finish those few games.

Minecraft. Obviously. But if you start that you'll never finish anything else. Ever.

Anyway, AC Brotherhood straight after you finishAC2, it'll feel like one giant game then since it continues straight after.
Witcher 2 if you have decent PC.
LA Noire is brilliant. Not perfect but you can tell it's opening up something new for the game industry and can only get better from here.

If you have a PS3: InFamous 2 is just out.

Thanks guys, I'll get on those games soon as I can with the exception of InFamous 2 (don't have a PS3) and Mortal Kombat (not a big fan of fighting games).

Any tips on which version of Portal 2 I should get? My laptop could run the first Portal on max settings and CoD: Black Ops on High.
