I always loved transformers, I just wish they make the deceptions more colorful. And stop the whole human story line. I did hear though that they made this a lot darker with no comic relief(at least not as much as the second one).

How to make a better Transformers film.

Use the War On Cybertron models that are clear and still modern.

Remove any trace of Sam and other humans as main characters. Only small side roles at best. And flesh out the Transformers themselves.
Don't let Bay anywhere near it except for directing explosions.
