Anyone know someone who has had it done? Was just about to look into it.

0:57 OH MY GOD
And yeah, I'd prefer wearing my glasses as opposed to risking that.

Re: Laser Eye surgery
Depends on who you go to, in most cases they don't clamp down your eye. They just numb it and clamp your head because if you were to move during the procedure you would cause major problems.
Some people say they only smell the burning of their eye which is most likely just a chemical smell from something the doctor uses.
Mild pain afterward. I ask your doctor to see what procedures are available as each one has different times, sessions, and post-surgery problems.

Re: Laser Eye surgery
I know someone who had it done a few years back. You set up an appointment with them and have the usual eye tests and some others tests to make sure you're capable of having the surgery. The surgery itself is about 15 minutes an eye normally. You don't feel any pain obviously since it's numbed beforehand though you can apparently "feel" the whole thing. Then it's from 24 to 48 hours until you have your sight back. Though it'll be a bit sore for a bit longer. Plus a check up to make sure everything is going smoothly.
It looks horrible, but when you think about it, when does surgery look nice?

Just think of the reward, having your full vision back with no glasses or contacts. Also, your right surgery never feels, or looks nice.
