Question about my processor Empty Question about my processor

Ok so I have a intel core 2 duo processor, and according to intels website it should be running between 2.66 and 2.8 ghz, but for some reason it's only running at 2.0

Is there anything I can do to fix it and make it run faster??????

Doubtful, Some processor's are "Over Clockable". Meaning you can adjust the processing speed of the core. To check to see if you can access your BIOS during boot. (When you first turn on your computer before loading Windows there should be a screen that pops up and will say something like "Press *** to access options") From there you will see if you can adjust your CPU speeds.

That said, A Core Duo running at 2Ghz is still plenty fast......What did you need it to run faster for? Overclocking can dramatically reduce the lifespan of your CPU......
