T-Shirt/Poster Contest

Hey guys, I need your help. This is my T-shirt/poster design that I drew for the Microbiology Department and I was wondering what you guys thought of it. I based this off the Art Deco style of the 30's and 40's, which is what the design of Bioshock is based out of. Also, my school's colors are orange and black so those are my two main colors besides the vintage blue I have in the background.

Any opinions on ways I could improve on it would be awesome!
